Throughout these terms, “RIVAL”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Michael Kelly trading as RIVAL.

2. Using our website

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and our Returns and Refunds Policy.

You must not use this website unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, copy its content without permission or use it to infringe the rights of another person.

We may restrict access to the website or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unlawful activity.

3. Products and fitment

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, photographs and prices are accurate.

Product colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting conditions and natural variations between anodising batches.

You are responsible for confirming that a product is compatible with your motorcycle before ordering. For M8 × 1.25 bobbins, please confirm that your motorcycle uses standard M8 × 1.25 paddock-stand mounting threads.

Products must be installed correctly and used only with compatible equipment. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect fitment, overtightening, unsuitable equipment, modification, accident or misuse. This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase from us. Your order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been dispatched.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

The product is unavailable.
Payment cannot be authorised.
The price or product information contains an obvious error.
We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

Where payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded to the original payment method.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.

Delivery charges and the final order total will be shown before you complete payment.

For international orders, customers may be responsible for local import duties, taxes or customs charges that are not collected at checkout.

6. Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided during checkout. Please check that your delivery details are correct before submitting your order.

Dispatch and delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Unless a different period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days of the order being accepted.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services or events outside our reasonable control, although we will assist where reasonably possible.

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person nominated by you.

7. Returns and refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy, subject to the conditions set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Online customers also have statutory cancellation rights. Faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed products will be handled in accordance with UK consumer law.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

8. Intellectual property

The RIVAL name, branding, product designs, photographs, videos, graphics, written content and website design belong to us or are used with permission.

You may view the website for personal use, but you must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

9. Third-party services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment providers, delivery companies and other service providers.

Third-party websites and services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for unrelated content or services provided directly by third parties.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Breach of your statutory consumer rights.
Any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses where a product was purchased primarily for commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shopify and other service providers may also process information where necessary to operate the store, process payments and fulfil orders.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when necessary. The current version will always be available on this page.

Changes will not affect orders already accepted unless required by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory rights available under the laws applying where they live and may bring proceedings in their local courts where permitted.
